Home Tour: Dominion

Welcome to your Texas retreat—a million-dollar home, located just 30 minutes outside downtown Dallas in Royse City. This custom home, residing in the Los Establos gated community, sits on 1.5 acres and is surrounded by 245 acres of open space with native prairies, creeks and a 15-acre fishing lake. If your dream home is a contemporary rustic escape, you will love the staging we did here!

This home can be described as having rustic elements with contemporary elegance. Spanning 5,200 square feet, this custom-built home has an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and chic lighting. The living room staging features a Chesterfield inspired sofa and loveseat exuding timeless elegance with rolled arms, nailhead trim, and tufting. The seating is paired with bronze metal elements, a round drum coffee table, and rich blue accent textiles.

Off of the main living area, the French doors open up to a secluded outdoor living space. This is the perfect living room to experience both home and nature together!

The tile work on this magnificent fireplace added so much character and texture to living room. Moody dark grey, brown, and black tones with gold metal accents pair perfectly with the arabesque tiles in the focal point of the room.

These curved back barstools are a stunner covered in pine green upholstery sitting atop black and brass legs. Entertaining in this kitchen around the oversized blue island is a true entertainer’s dream.

We love staging a kitchen with mixed metals, which is one of the easiest ways to incorporate a bit of depth and sophistication into an interior.

The staging showcases a sleek, yet charming interior. In the formal dining room, located right off the kitchen, we took inspiration from the combination of black and brass chandelier and its linear design with distinct angles. The chandelier is over a live edge dining table and ivory attention-grabbing upholstered dining chairs. We continued the brass accents in the lamps and warm neutrals and metal accents in the wall décor.

Floor to ceiling color in this home office, wow! The space is dramatic and moody yet filled with so much natural light. The hide rug just seemed fitting with the dark wall paint and we couldn't resist creating contemporary elegance with rustic elements. Continuing the natural elements, these lounge chairs are covered in chocolate, faux alligator leather in a square bronze metal frame. A workspace fitting with such a bold look is sure to inspire. If we ever decide to leave the city in search of the perfectly modern, rustic, lodge style retreat, this home we staged definitely tops the list.
